Greetings:

It is with deep sadness that I must report the death of Dr. Kenneth
Jernigan.  Dr. Jernigan passed away peacefully this evening in his
home in Baltimore.  Words cannot begin to describe the monumental
effect he has had upon the lives of literally thousands of blind
people, both in this country and around the world.
