NWHOST File Needed

Hi, guys,

I am helping a friend set up her new computer that she bought used. When
trying to install network components such as dial-up networking or an
Ethernet card, the computer asks for a file called 

NWHOST 

that cannot be found on the entire system.

This computer came with Windows preinstalled and a set of the cab files on
the hard drive. It could not find the above file there nor anywhere else on
the machine's hard drive.I have not seen said file before, either.

Does anyone of you know which file the machine is looking for and where it
can be obtained? Or could you even email it to me? Please contact me
privately with any information you have.
